The founder of Tire Crew, Steve Umling has directly contributed to the economic growth of our area while providing jobs to many of our neighbors in the process. After opening a second location, he is in the process of selling the business and is ready to give back to the community that has given him so much.

A Dedicated Husband, Father and Grandfather
Steve Umling is happily married to his wife of 42 years. The two of them are blessed to share three children and six grandchildren -- underscoring his commitment to Blanchard and the surrounding area where much of his family still calls home.
A Problem Solver
Blanchard has problems that require someone with Steve's unique background working with business and government to implement real solutions that will have a direct, positive impact on our families.
In 2024, Steve Umling went above and beyond & beyond his duties as a Caddo Parish School Board Member by helping HB 424 become law. The common-sense education reform bill instituted a statewide 10-point grading scale -- a policy shift that puts students first and eliminates confusion across states & districts.
